Thanks to the Bush House Strollers for the £122. Well done all...

Walkers in the picture were (L-R) Dan Stack, Mike Old, Peter Vojak, Dave Wetherall and Alan Bennifer. As we all work for HMRC we took the photo outside "Head Office".

The walk started on Friday 12th June and finished on Sunday 14th June.
Here is the text I used to tell people of our safe return from Snowdonia for you to adapt;

We got back in to Central London at 10pm on 14th June.
The weather was generally dry and indeed very sunny on Saturday and Sunday. As a result the scenery was magnificent with views for at least 20 miles to the sea in 2 directions from the hills we went up.  Sun stroke and dehydration became more of an issue than wind and rain.

Stats were;
Day 1 Total Mileage;    15.03 miles, Total ascent     5383 feet
Day2    Ditto             14.00 miles,   Ditto     4470 feet
Day3    Ditto               12.14 miles ,  Ditto           2492 feet

We all survived and did not need assistance from Mountain Rescue, though one other entrant did get helicoptered off a mountain that the team had just been on in the mist! We are all tired and have a few blisters. One of the best treatments was to soak our feet in the cold streams or river at the end of the day, indeed we went for a swim at the end of the last leg yesterday. Luckily it was not recorded photographically.

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all despite the aches and pains.
