Hi Folks,
Foundations April 2009
We have just received the latest photos of work beginning on the construction of Grace Secondary School in the Nuba Mountains of the Sudan.

Since August, we have raised more than £36,600. Hundreds of bricks have been made and now the foundations are being dug for the first of the classrooms.

Our target is now to raise £73,000 for the school to be built and opened. After that we will be looking for individual and business sponsorship to help us support the teachers and supply much needed books and materials for the students. We also hope to increase the size of the school because secondary education is virtually non-existent in this part of the Sudan and demand his huge.
These photographs show how the hard work and generosity of people here in Dorset has turned the dreams of a community many miles away into a reality.

This school gives great hope and will give a brighter future to hundreds of young people. People who may one day be able to make a real difference in to their community and ever to their country.
